Project Description

The project activity developed by SKS Ispat & Power Ltd promotes energy efficiency and environmental responsibility by using Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) systems. It captures heat from exhaust gases produced by Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) kilns and channels it into Waste Heat Recovery Boilers to generate clean electricity. By converting waste heat into energy, the facility reduces reliance on grid power and cuts carbon emissions—supporting cleaner industrial operations and long-term climate goals.
