Project Description

The proposed project titled “Exporting green electricity to the grid using biomass fired cogeneration at Rauzagaon in Uttar Pradesh, India" is a renewable energy project. The plant has installed a cogeneration system which generates steam and electricity. After fulfilling the in-house demand of electricity the surplus is supplied to the grid. The project activity contributes to SDG goals 7,8,9,12 and 13. The CO2 emissions avoided by the project activity is estimated to be 146,289 tCO2e annually.
