Project Description

The Project activity titled “Biomass fired cogeneration project at Sarsini village in Punjab, India” has two boilers of 12 TPH and 8 TPH capacity respectively, where the former is connected to a 286 KW turbo-generator set. Being present in the agrarian state of Punjab, the project sources waste biomass locally and helps avoid 42,711 tonnes of CO2e emissions per year. The project also targets multiple SDGs, besides SDG 13 (climate action).
